I am a little tired of them, but I try to play the only really fantastic ones. Stalker, HL2, crysis for the fantastic graphics lol...and the other amazing ones that I can't remember.
The company making it was formed by a bunch of the guys who left GSC during the development of Shadow of Chernobyl. Since Clear Sky had almost no underground stuff whatsoever and this is based almost entirely underground, you can kinda see which aspects of SoC they were responsible for. If they manage to maintain the atmosphere Stalker had, it'll be pretty awesome.
the only true shooters that I've gotten into at all in the last couple years were Dead Space and HL 2.

Ah cool, and yeah the same kinda atmosphere is what i thought when i saw the video.
I had dead space and didn't get into it that much. I started to, but one of the puzzles bugged out and I couldn't go any further, but couldn't be bothered to restart.
And I absolutely love HL2 to bits.
I played HL2 until I got to the part where you had to set up the turrets to defend that corridor in the jail. I just tried getting through it a couple times and lost interest.
