Shooting pics...

Me and my buddies went shooting yesterday, and we brought quite a few guns. I think we shot 500 rounds of just 9mm. About 400 of .223, and who knows how much of everything else. I finally got my SBR done, and you can see it in there too.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, but its all I had out there.

As you can see, I threw my XD45 in the mud on a bet. And I won a $5 shooting bet. I hit an 18x18 steel target at 100 yards with my 1911 on the first shot.

Pics of the muddy XD45. I should have checked how many rounds I had before I threw it in the mud. I wanted to shoot it muddy, and I did, but I only had 3 rounds left. :-/

Hehe, I think the first post is kind of cool, and have nothing against collecting and shooting guns, but the "I wanted to shoot it muddy" thing is kind of redneck.

It was more of a dare. My friends had been daring me to throw one of my guns in the mud and shoot it.

Nope. Im working on my third. I decided to go kinda old school on this one. All I need now is the barrel, bolt carrier group, and the charging handle.

I had an AR once. Got my $15k tax return and still haven't taken any steps towards buying/building a new upper. Damned life gets in the way, and I need a good jack, chainsaw, pressure washer, and updates to the house. But one of these days...

Buy tt part by part. I got the upper, handguards, and delta ring for $50 and three rail covers.

Oh and one of the reasons I bought my XD45 was that if I dropped it in the mud it would still shoot and not misfire. Now I don't feel like cleaning it so I'm not going to drop it in the mud but it's great to know it can.
