At first, I didn't realize that the rep system didn't show the repper because on my UserCP I see the name. It turns out that's just an admin thing, so my first large batch of reps were unwittingly anonymous. Lately, I tend to leave rep with my name attached. It's up to the person repping.

The anonymity allows people to keep from negavoting each other like children (unless they choose to leave their name in neg rep comments). But it doesn't really allow for any system gaming with positive rep swapping, because admins can see all rep. If a shitty post is being repped, we see that. If you get caught doing that shit, you just get your rep reset. Not a huge deal.

I think the rep system can make people post better. If it makes even the slightest bit of difference, I think it's worth keeping.

I don't think that it'll make that much of a posting difference unless we get a free knife or hat after hitting a certain level.
I hear the voices inside my head. They counsel me. They understand. They talk to me.
