How so? I see the bourgeoisie, petty-bourgeoisie (which is what the US was built upon, "The American Dream") and the proletariat. These are the three main classes and I see them in every single state that exists right now. (The only exception are some extremely backwards nations with peasants whose entire lives revolve around the land they work on, or tribes)
How? It represents those who work on their own, ergo they aren't exploited. There are, as I explained, two types: those who work on land (e.g. small shop owners) who can easily be threatened by a more advanced and efficient corporation or simply large chain of stores (these are the types that Lenin said vacillate and thus can be allied with, but only with caution) and the ones like accountants who do work for the bourgeoisie but not on a wage-basis. (These are the types that Lenin said are enemies)
So no, not simplifying.
