ok listen make some threads in CD and generate like, any real activity, and we'll open up the mess hall or its new equivalent.

with a community like ours that isn't exactly scooping up new members like hotcaks, i don't see why it really makes a difference whether we have a new forum to put recipes in. there's like 30 of us and we all post in CD and flams so it'll get seen and responded to in there more than it would in the mess hall anyway. if we open up a new forum about food a couple of people will post in it a couple of times and nobody else will bother looking.

until there's ANY demand for it (demand in terms of activity, not in terms of people asking for it) the mess hall will stay closed
