oh god LOL. well I ordered, even against my mother's wishes, but whatever. I make my own money lol, I just usually tell her before I make big purchases .

I bought one and had to return it.

It would not get 1900 x 1200, instead 1900 x 1080 which is not nearly as sharp. Connecting via HDMI left about a 2 inch wide black unusable border all around the outside, in essence making it a 22-24 or so inch monitor. I heard there was a way to get rid of the border, but I could not get it to work under Catalyst Control.

I guess it depends on what you are going to use it for, but Id stick with a 28' and get full 1900x1200 rather than a 27'. Just thought Id point that out to you all

I found that off the slickdeals forums

The reviews on Dell look great though, I'm only concerned, well not really, I have a strong computer and video card. Temps run up to 60C with ranging from 30-99% GPU usage, I figure playing at a much higher resolution will pop my temps up T_T. Though 80-90 is still safe... I just prefer to stay around 60 haha.

-_- and now i've spend the past hour just reading differences between 1920x1080 and 1920x1200, hope I don't regret this! :P Hopefully I can pawn off my 22inch for $80 to a friend. I currently game at 16:9 anyways
