    Default Networking Printers problem

Hey guys, my XP uses a Samsung ML-1740 Printer, when I had an XP laptop it would print fine through the network but now, I have a Vista computer [i know, ghey]. I have not been able to print with it, and sometimes find myself forgetting to switch to the XP computer and print important things. I gave up a while ago but now I'd like to try again.

    The things I have tried:
Going to samsung.com, installed the newest driver on both computers
Going to a forum and downloading the .inf file -> tried to manually add the Printer and it asked for .inf file so I directed it and I got this,

It says Printer driver setup error. Operation could not be completed. (error 0x00000002)

I'm on a netgear router and I can already access XP files through the network, just not the printer :[.

God damn confusing :[. Any help?

Is the printer plugged into the XP computer? If it is, the XP computer must be turned on...

Did you add the printer to your Vista box via TCP/IP address or name?

Don't forget to update the drivers, that has solved a few problems I've seen.

The printer is plugged into the XP computer and yes the XP is always on.
I added the printer by name because I was searching through the networks and I found it.

The drivers have been updated for both computers.
