RMA's take 3-4 days to send, 3-4 days to process, and 3-4 to ship back typically, depending on where you live. Dell's turnaround time is equal to less than that usually.

I'll post that CR article when I get home. And the last couple Dell Desktops I looked over used Western Digital HDDs, Samsung RAM, Samsung DVD-Drives, and the typical Intel motherboard. Most RAM has equal reliability anyways, considering most of it comes from the same manufacturer and is then re-branded.
