Default PC Case front panel audio interference.

So I recently built a computer with this case:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-Li-_-11112130

Works great, but the only problem is I get crazy interference in my front panel audio. It seems to be linked to my graphics card since it gets worse when I play a game, watch a movie, or resize windows. It's like this crazy buzzing sound.

I've tried moving it all over the place, but it doesn't really help. It doesn't happen in the back of the case.

I tried to move my graphics card (big mofo) up a PCIE slot to make it farther away from the soundcard (Asus implementation of SoundMAX HD Audio, but for some reason my ATI 4870 won't go into that slot. It goes in fine on the front part, but the back just won't snap in like there's something on the mobo blocking it. (damn it).

Another thing my friend suggested was shielding the cable that goes from the sound card to the front panel with aluminum foil and duct tape. Before I try doing this, as it sounds like a pain in the ass, do you guys have any other suggestions? Apologies if I didn't post all the needed info, I tried to keep it short and to the point

I'm just necro'ing this because I fixed someones computer recently and I remembered seeing this a long time ago.

It turned out they had revered one of the pin connectors, theirs were individual connectors, not a block.

    Gotta watch out for that.

You mean pin connectors going from the sound card to the front panel?

No, the sound card connects to the computer through a PCI slot or something of the sort, but the front panel wires connect to the motherboard. The pin connector that lists the +,-,Ground, etc is what I'm talking about.

they showed great respect and awe for one of the pin connectors?

i suppose that got to the pin connector's head, and it decided it decided it was too good to serve its function anymore.

yeah, gotta keep them in their place and let them know who's boss.

friends don't let friends worship their pin connectors.
