If i did get a sound card, i was thinking about buying some higher gauge speaker cables, any recommendations for that as well?
You don't really need anything special, but monoprice.com would be the place to look.

Yeah, i checked out newegg and i saw a couple of those. I was just wondering if anyone knew which one you get the most bang for your buck. And if there is a card that specifies for just 2.0, so that way i don't have to pay extra for features that i don't need, for example a 7.1 sound card
