Default Help with buying a sound card

Hello, i tried googling for a good sound card, but I'm just not experienced enough in the area to really know.

I bought some incredible M-Audio Studiophile AV 40. They are high quality speakers, and i wanted to buy a new sound card to improve the performance.

My motherboard is a M2N32 SLI Deluxe, it had decent on board audio.

Anyone know of some good sound cards out there that are within the price range of $60-$100? Or if you guys think that it would just be a waste of money, please let me know.

If i did get a sound card, i was thinking about buying some higher gauge speaker cables, any recommendations for that as well?

The link for the speakers is here
Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more

    Here's my motherboard link

You don't really need anything special, but monoprice.com would be the place to look.

Yeah, i checked out newegg and i saw a couple of those. I was just wondering if anyone knew which one you get the most bang for your buck. And if there is a card that specifies for just 2.0, so that way i don't have to pay extra for features that i don't need, for example a 7.1 sound card

Although I'd probably go with the Asus, all of those are of about the same quality. I posted more than one so you could check out reviews.

Most cards are going to be multichannel these days. The stereo cards you're going to find are either going to be junk or be studio cards and be out of your price range.
