Thread: sysupd32.exe virus. Need help.

I recently got infected by sysupd32.exe and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I've ran Malwarebites - Anti-Malware, Spybot Seach & Destroy, PC Tools Spyware Doctor and Avira Antivir all in safe mode, yet the virus is still there.

I has fixed itself into my boot list and refuses to delete. When I access the root folder in which it is meant to be, it isn't there. Even with hidden files enabled.


Can anybody help me out?

Have you googled it to see if anyone else has had the same issue and successfully fixed it?

My buddy's computer was really messed up, couldn't even load in safe mode. I downloaded this .iso, figured I (or he) had nothing to lose. It worked which was great, got him off my back. Download the .iso here: ftp://ftp.drweb.com/pub/drweb/livecd/
