I've been toying with a broken iPhone and I'm trying to replace the back covering, but when I took out the battery I noticed that there is a small silver sticker that sits directly underneath it. In the replacement back covering that I have there isn't one of these, and when I try to pull it up it won't come up without destroying.

I have a hunch that it has to do with grounding the battery somehow but I'm really not sure. Do I need to replace that sticker on the new casing? If no one has any ideas I might just try without it and pray it works because I can't find anywhere that sells these stickers - primarily because I don't have a clue what to call it.

If anyone has anyone ideas I'd love to hear them.

Here's a picture if anyone case:
