    Default Looking for laptop cooling pad

    So I'm looking for a laptop cooling pad because my laptop's performance starts to blow when it gets very hot. I've been reading reviews for around 3 weeks and its just so difficult because I see plenty of good and bad reviews on every single product. I know some people just get unlucky with faulty parts but I hope I don't get that, and end up having the unit break on me right after the return policy ends..

    I'm trying to buy it in store since i have no credit card yet so there is no shopping so my only choices really are Bestbuy/Walmart/Target

    But I just wanna know what you guys would recommend? From experiences of owning one or recommending others in the past. Or any discounts you know of

    So far I'm looking at these:

    walmart doesn't have instore
    http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=9203344
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Targus+-...0fan&cp=1&lp=5

    Thanks =]

    I had three different ones in the past (don't remember what brands) because I had a laptop that kept overheating, and none of them really made enough of a difference to be worth the trouble. I was only happy once I got a new laptop that did not overheat like a bitch. Just saying, they are a pain in the ass.

    I have this one (different color, but same difference):

    [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-NotePal-Widescreen-Notebook-R9-NBC-AWAK/dp/B000EVOP6A"]Amazon.com: Cooler Master NotePal Widescreen Notebook Cooler ( R9-NBC-AWAK ): Electronics[/ame]

    The plastic ones are invariably cheap and ineffective. You want to get something that improves airflow. The angle of these allows for air to actually flow into the fans, even if it's sitting in your lap. You also want to look at where the vents on your laptop are and make sure the vents on the cooler align.

    That one is also nice because it has a USB input so you don't lose a USB spot. I just keep a mouse plugged into mine, which is convenient.

    Thanks for the suggestion, looks good but amazon is out of stock right now. My laptop is a 15.4" widescreen HP so the fan should work well, the only problem though is that the fans are 2 in the back. The vents in my laptop has one in the way back, back, middle, and front. and they're all basically on my left side of the laptop -_-. The extra usb port isn't really a necessity for me, as I already bought a usb hub to use the fan -_-. I was expecting to go cheap and buy some lousy one and bought the hub too early but didn't wanna miss the discount at my unversity =D.

    And yeah HP laptops overheat like bitches.

    Hope to see any other suggestions with my ventilation specs and whatnot
