Cool Car is having problems....as usual

Well I drive a 1998 Honda Civic. I was driving home from Wal Mart the other day when all of a sudden my CEL started flashing and i lost ALOT of power. Like when I accelerated, it was just slow as shit, i would stomp on the pedal and it would get nowhere. I manage to bootleg it home and it starts to idle real rough. Here is a video:

So, after that I posted that on Honda-Tech and was suggested to check the plug wires (they say that was the problem it was doing that, they had to be faulty) but me and my friend used an OHM meter and this tool http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=4424, and it came out with spark, so I assumed the plug wires are still good. I'm still getting suggestions of changing the plug wires from H-T....also there is a CEL but I can't really get it scanned because I don't want to get stranded in the middle of nowhere....so CD I ask you, what should I do? (besides sell the damn thing, because I really want to)

Add a bit of info, the plugs were changed the day the car started fucking up, but the wires were still the same. I'm starting to think its a sensor, but I could be wrong....

Maybe your mass airflow sensor (MAF)? I'm not really familiar with Hondas. Do you have AAA? I would recommend trying to take the thing to AutoZone or somewhere to have it scanned so you know what code is flashing. Or buy a scanner and do it yourself. The scanner will tell you exactly what's wrong, since it's OBDII. My CEL was on in my 96 Grand Am a few years ago and the scanner told me it had a blocked catalytic converter.

My guess is mass airflow, or some other sensor that's gone haywire.

Yea seriously gimp to Autozone, Advanced auto parts, Napa, they all do the free OBD2 scan. Have a friend or family member follow you in case. If it fails on the way there, see if they can take you to Autoplace to pick the guy up and bring him back with the scanner.
