Default Any idea what I did to my car?

Well my car skidded into a curb as a result of black ice. I hit the curb doing about 10 mph, which isn't a whole lot. Well now my front right wheel of my car looks more or less like this

That is not my exact car, but that picture is the closest to what the wheel looks like. I am not car savvy in any way. What is the possible damage to the car if it looks like that? Will I have to buy a totally new car? Any idea of a rough estimate of a cost based on possible things that are damaged?

I am bugging out right now

    Picture didn't load.

If you hit a curb at 10mph though you for sure will need an alignment if the steering pulls now, probably will need a new rim, and possibly might need a new strut if you hit it hard enough enough.

Alignment is like $50-75, a rim depending car model could be $200-??? (check online for a junkyard rim), struts I'm not sure on, I think they're like $150 or more.

Well it looks like I MAY have broken the axle or tie rod? My wheel is barely hanging onto my car. I wish the picture would load.

I hit a curb going 20, drove on it for a couple months and got it fixed later. Axle was fine, just needed an alignment.

I'm hardly a car expert, but I would think that if you hit a curb at 10 MPH you most likely just screwed up the alignment and at most damaged the rim. But if Scarf says that you might have damaged the strut, then I guess it's possible...

Also, you're going to have to upload the file to an image hosting site and then post it here. Try imageshack.us

Going from the little amount of information you have given, Im going to say you need new muffler bearings.

    Oh, that must be it.

Well I was assuming the link was working but apparently not.

My car is FWD. After I had hit the curb, my tire had been barely hanging on to my car. When I hit the gas the tire was so disconnected from the axle it did not spin. Like I said, I am not car savvy but I am assuming my rim is bent, and the tie rod is broken. Any other possible things that might be fucked up based on this description?

Sounds like you may have broken the CV shaft or pushed it into the trans axle.

Probably bent a control arm or so. An alignment might be all that's needed, but you may have to replace the damaged part. My BMW control arms are like $650, just giving you a price.

My Mustang control arms are $160 for both sides with new ball joints. So I wouldnt expect to pay much more than that.

I'd look at a new axle if the CV is that fucked up, a new LCA maybe a new UCA, possibly balljoint and hopefully you didn't screw up the spindle.

That said, depending on the car will depend largely upon the price, and it may not be nearly that bad.
