Thread: Pet Peeves (while driving)

I thought that was how the left lane functioned everywhere...

My pet peeve while driving is the fact that I am driving. Give me a bicycle or my good ole' tree trunks any day.

I think it's technically supposed to be "the passing lane", but anywhere there is even slightly heavy traffic, you are probably going to get people treating it as another driving lane instead, for obvious reasons. My area has some of the worst traffic in the entire world (IIRC, the only place in the country with worse traffic is Los Angeles), so anyone who expects the left lane to be reserved for passing in this area is deluding themselves.
