    Default autocross pictures

On Sunday there was another autocross school and I went to it and took the 5-Series for some fun. It was the first time racing the 5-Series (I usually race a 911). It was a lot of fun, handled pretty well. I wish they had the course timed just to see how quick it actually was.

This one is just 5 sequential pictures animated.

This is one of my dad that came out pretty well.

These are two of my favorites I think. They look amazing in full resolution (Nikon D40x). 3872x2592

Heres some more of the skyline.

I think it is owned/driven by the brother of the guy who created Under Armour (Baltimore based company).

    Put a few more up.

If he's the brother of Underarmour's creator, he must have several skylines. Those fkin pieces of clothes are expensive, yet everyone has them.

Was the Cobra (kit?) making runs?

Oh man. I came looking at the GT-R pics. I love that car so much. It is such a beautiful and amazing piece of machinery. And it smokes the competition. Hell it smokes cars that cost twice as much.

It was making runs. Its a kit car that the parts came from I believe Massachusetts or somewhere up north. It was finished in October and took the guy 14 months in total. I know it had a Mustang engine in it and I think it was a 4.6 liter.

Last season there was a group of like 4 or 5 Cobras that came up. I think they were all kit cars but they had too much power and most of them spun out and had high times however there was one cobra that posted really fast times.
    These were real loud:

Wow, those are some bad looking cars. I wish I had the money or opportunity to drive these cars.

I wanna drive the GTR and the Lotus.

Seems that super light weight of the Lotus would be easy to spin out in the water. Also how wet did the drivers get? I see windows down and tops open.

Too much GTR fanboy-ism. I really don't understand the appeal of that car. R32/33/34 are awesome, no argument there. R35 not so much. Overweight, crappy interiors, and worst of all crappy transmissions. Not to mention Nissan doesn't stand by the car at all if you drive it how a 'super car' was designed to be driven, or even mistakenly press a button. Not a fan.

The Elise are pretty fun cars. My friend owned one, now he upgraded to the Exige. Friggin' Trust fun baby. He's also putting together a E30 BMW coupe with full R33 drive train. Its a wicked project. Both will be sweet for auto X/tracking this summer.

Was that a 540 you did it in? That seems like it would be a fun car to do it in. I auto X an E36 3series personally (well used to...it will be back!) Looks like a nice club you got there, mine is a bunch of college guys in 240s, rx7s, crxs, and WRXs/STis. Can't wait to get home and see about a better club.

I agree about the GTR being lame. I remember reading that story about Nissan when the car just came out.

It's always great to get the cold shoulder from your manufacturer when your car is under warranty.
