Today I finished replacing the valve cover. Changed the thermostat too. I also fixed the 4WD. Then I went through a ditch, and did some donuts.

Here are a few, I took a bunch more before the guy came to take her home.

If I had the time and money she'd have been in much better condition. The last time I drove her was about four years ago, sitting around did no good whatsoever, but at least the motor was not locked up. As much fun as a newer Jeep would be for a project these old Willys flatfenders have a utilitarian charm no Jeep made since can match. Once I retire I plan to find another flatfender for a project. The plans I have for my house and property (should I keep it and retire back down here, a lot can change in the next decade) will give me a dedicated work area and plenty of space to work on almost anything.
