    Default Bought a plastic pistol. S&W M&P45

Not sure why, just got the wild hair. I was looking at a GLOCK 21 but it was just too big for my girlie hands. So I went with an M&P45 because with the small grip insert it feels pretty OK in the hand. I hope to get out soon to shoot it.

One of my friends has one of these in .40. He really likes it. I got to hold it, but that's it. Pretty sweet gun.

I handled one a few years back while talking to S&W's LEO Sales Chief. Been wanting one since, and if/when I decide to buy it I can get the nice LEO price.

Ive handled those before, and I like them. Id like to get one, but I just cant get away from Glocks.

When you were looking at the G21, were you handling the standard one or the G21SF?

I could not tell you which exact model it was, just the full sized .45acp. Actually I picked up a couple of them and the were way too big for may hand. Even with the small grip insert the M&P is big, but round shape of the grip fits me better the the square grip of the Glock.

The G21 and G21SF are bot the full size ones. But SF stands for slim frame or something along those lines. A regular G21 is too big for my liking, but the SF fits great.

I also used to have an XD45 and it was a nice gun. Much smaller than a regular G21 too.

Guys I accidentally bought a M&P and not a Glock. What do I do? The store wont take it back.

I wish my M&P9 came with front cocking serrations like the 45 does.

And I use the small backstrap too. I can use the medium and even the large one, but with the small, I can really wrap my hands around it. I can ALMOST make my thumb on my shooting hand touch the tip of my trigger finger when I depress the trigger.
