Thread: So, Who Still Checks In Regularly?

I see AnonymousD is now the Mod here. Congratulations (I think). Anyway, I can't help but notice the lack of activity here and elsewhere. So, how many of you regulars (or former regulars) check in, and how often? I guess both questions will be answered to an extent by the number and timeliness of responses.

We are a long way from the "glory days" of five years ago, or even from the earlier days of CD. I checked the Internet Archive a few days ago to reference LWS' user statistics, and couldn't help but venture to the archived Armory. Despite having never met any of you in person, I have fond memories of the many discussions we had back then and have had since, as well as the failed experiments with Zoints forums. Smith and I ran f15.com, and I helped run theroadtowar.com (now a blog?) and mymetallunchbox.com.

As for me, I moved to Georgia last year after completing my tour as a Recruiter, and am now deployed to a nice vacation spot with a beautiful view of the mountains. Since moving I hadn't gotten the internet, which explains my lack of presence over the past year-plus. Prior to that I was in college, which sucked up most weekends and other time off and minimized my social time both outside and on the 'net.

Anyway, Armory/TGO regulars (and those who just click in from time to time), are you still around? What are you up to nowadays, and where--if anyplace--do you frequent? Anyone?


P.S., I'll even throw in a poll for old times' sake.

I still check in every few days. But I hardly have time to get on my computer at all these days.
