I'll keep you all posted. The wife wants me to sell the Tommy gun, and since I bought it for her in the first place, we'll see what happens. Also, with the house I may be finally breaking down and getting a Type 03 FFL. Nothing like wholesale prices and direct shipping on old military weapons.
For old guns you can get a relic license. I cant remember exactly what its called, but it allows you to get older firearms shipped to your home with no FFL needed.
That's the Type 03 FFL, aka Curio and Relics License. The ATF keeps a list of C&R weapons, mostly military small arms over 50 years old, though there are some exceptions. Some NFA weapons also fall under C&R status.
