Cool It's that time of the year again

I just filed my taxes and will be getting back a little over $7k (love the non-taxable income I get). I also will finally be getting my household goods down here so I can claim another $4k. I've been saying this for the past few years, and haven't made a major gun purchase since before I registered on LWS (yeah, it's been almost four years), but I think this year I will be getting something nice for myself.

I want another carry pistol, so I might go with a 85 Ultralite and a Judge. If I can find a LEO dealer I may even buy one of the M&P pistols I wanted a year or two ago; hell, I won't even rule out a Glock or Springfield given the LEO price. The AR lower is still sitting lonely but I don't know if I will invest in a new upper or not.

I was able to test fire the Papoose yesterday. It is quite accurate and had no misfires with Stingers. I'll see how she shoots with Lightening and sub-sonic loads in a couple weeks. I've got enough of the stuff falling out of boxes and finding every crevice possible. I also put a few rounds through the Beretta. It sure is nice to be able to walk outside and shoot again.

Anyone here have grand plans for the tax return?

It would be in your best bet to check out the shops near the bases. Check around Fort Polk or Barksdale AFB. I used to live near Ft Polk so I will put a call in to a few shops.

I appreciate it. The most frustrating thing is that LA expects you to know what you need to buy a gun. Granted, one photo ID is more lenient than two forms of ID like VA, but at least VA lets you know what documentation is accepted.

The place I bought my AR from seems to know their shit, and I know a few people that have an FFL but no storefront, so they sell out of their home. I can get you their numbers if you want.
