Just because you are showing off a gun to a friend does not mean its any more dangerous, and a bullet will not just appear in it.

One thing alot of people dont understand is that a gun does NOT just go off. The trigger is pulled. Id say that around 1% of accidental/negligent discharges are due to mechanical problems. As long as you follow the cardinal rules (finger off trigger until shooting, always pointed in a safe direction), which me and my shooting buddies ALWAYS do, then you are fine. Ive bitched out my share of people for pointing a gun at me or anyone else, even if I had just cleared the weapon myself and handed it to them.
