Shooting a .22lr from 100 yards.

I took my Kimber 22 Hunter out for a spin. I revamped her rifle case with some new foam and black felt and I wanted to show it off to the guys at the range. We did our standard money shoots at 50 yards and I won a few bucks. When we were done playing for cash I started shooting at 100 yards just to get some numbers off the scope written down for doping the rifle. She did very well considering I was using cheap ammo, Federal 714 bought for $15 a brick before the great ammo hoarding of 2009. A few groups were sub MOA and a few were just a bit over MOA. Next time I'm going to take a box of Tenex and get a real measure of her capabilities but if it's anything like 50 yards the rifle and ammo will way outshoot me.

All shooting was done from a concrete bench and bipod with a lead filled rear bag. The trigger is set at 14oz, conditions were as close to dead calm as I have ever seen, The wind flags barely wiggled one or twice all day.

The top group is off to the right because I waited until after the money matches to loosen the scope a bit to level the crosshairs by one degree.
