Default FN P90. The real one, not that street-legal pansy.

Shot it today. 150 rounds downrange. Most on full auto. That 5.7mm round doesn't have much kick to it and I was able to keep 95%+ of my rounds on-target. Hella fun, if a bit spendy.

Next week: HK's moviestar, the MP5.

What do you mean "the real one, not street-legal"?

EDIT: Oh full auto, nvm. Where/how?

Little place in southeast Georgia called Shooters of America. They have lots of fun stuff to rent.

You aren't even supposed to be able to rent stuff like that IIRC. The only one I've ever seen was a class III dealers demo gun for LEO and they wouldn't even letme touch it. I did get to handle the UMP .40 though.

That might be a state restriction. Including SOA, I know of at least two places in two different states that allow you to rent full auto weapons.

Don't feel bad, the only ones I've ever seen were in the hands of Secret Service ERTs at the White House and they wouldn't let me hold theirs either.

I should have explained myself better. When i said "stuff like that" I didn't mean full autos. You can rent then here too. But they are all ones that anyone can legally own going through the proper paperwork. The P90 was made after the machine gun ban so you can't get one. I was told you can only rent guns that are legal for civillian ownership.

I'd love to get me a PS90 and make it a SBR. That would be sweet.

That can't be true. There are plenty of places that rent out post-'86 machineguns, for movies and stuff.

I don't have my ATF reg book around at the moment, but I'm pretty sure there's nothing saying you can't rent post-86 MGs from those who are able to own them. I've seen places renting full-auto UMPs, for instance.

You can rent full autos in NC- or at least hendersonville. I think they even sold them there... Place called Rex's
