I'll have to go back next week to find out the model of .22 they had. After I posted about the revolver, I went to a local LEO supply store and spent another hundred. They had a Safariland paddle holster for $20 and a Gould and Goodrich two-slot for $8, both leather and with the forward cant I prefer. I also picked up a couple of speedloaders and a box of Black Hills 125 grain +P .38 SPL. Fifty round box was almost $40. I did some drawing practice last night from the G&G, it was a little tight to re-holster and snap the thumbstrap at first but is fairly fast to draw from and the sights line right up from the draw.

I have to find my speedloader pouch (if I didn't sell it) and practice reloads as well. Being left handed, I used to be fairly good at a hand swap and reload, keeping the speedloaders on my strong side. Good thing I still have a box of .38 SPL blanks and maybe some snap caps to practice with.
