    Default S&W Kit Gun

I found a nice shooter grade pre Model 34 S&W 22-32 four digit serial# 12xx kit gun today, possibly a first month production. She shows a lot of use but no real abuse, it's older than I am and it works and looks a whole lot better than I do. It's a very nice J frame .22lr six shooter that I won't feel bad about carrying into the woods. It came with a set of near new condition Herrett target grips that will have to be replaced with some J frame diamonds, the Herret's make the gun sit high in my hand and I have to break my wrist to see the sights properly.

Anyway here are the pictures so as not to make the a worthless thread.

My grandfather has one of those that he did a bunch of trigger work to. Super accurate little gun.

Finally got some period correct grips, and a custom made holster.

Out of curiosity, how many revolvers have you owned in your life?

    Hmm.... Let's see.... S&W models 681, 686, 66, 36, 14x3, 15, 17x2, 29, 25, 625x2, M&P, 1905 3rd change, 38/44 .22/32, Victory, Ruger models gp100, Blackhawk 357 & 44 mag, Vaquero 45, Colts Dragoon, Navy, Frontier, Detective Special, and King Cobra. I think that's about all of them. About 25 + or -, all I have now are S&Ws. Though to be fair I have owned a few 1911s and a few Browning Hi-Powers and I have been considering a CZ75.

I thought about a Glock for about while, but everybody has a Glock, I'm a bit different.
