I remember the defensive holding call now, and it was pretty blatant.

You obviously never played football. Just because he didn't generate a stat line doesn't mean he wasn't picking up 2+ blockers on every play.

By the same token, Madden also said the Roughing penalty was bullshit. Of course, the difference is the world agrees with him on the penalty and no one agrees on the safety.

The only reason I'm sad is because NFL officiating has consistently gotten worse as replay has become a greater and greater part of the game.
