Well I just recently started watching it, but I don't really follow it. The Wild are on my list of teams that I enjoy thoroughly enjoy watching, along with the Penguins.
It's a pretty fun sport to watch one you figure out wtf is going on and how it generally works.

There is no next Gretzky imo, just like there is no next Jordan.
But I agree, Red Wings fans can GTFO.
Before Nashville got a team my favs were the Blackhawks. Now my favs are them and the Preds, even though the Preds are giving a poor showing this year.
Well, I meant "Gretzky" in the sense of the next player to stand out with supreme skills.
I was sad to see the Hawks lose the Winter Classic. They're a good team and I automatically cheer for whoever is facing Detroit.
Speaking of Detroit, The Wild are beating the shit out of the Wings 4-1 at the 2nd intermission right now. I'm very happy.
Ha! That is great news. It is a little surprising though. On paper the Red Wings should be able to turn The Wild into a tiny pile of dust.
I am a Red Wings fan, and I will not GTFO. I was born a RW fan, I'll die a RW fan. Anybody who's anybody plays hockey at Joe Louis.
Edit: But I do understand, you guys are just intimidated by the most powerhouse hockey club in the NHL. It happens. Besides, I was born an hour away from Detroit, my parents grew up in Detroit. I'm a home town fan, it's in my blood.

Been a Sharks fan for as long as I can remember. Gotta love the home team.
It's cool, most of us deserve it anyways. Besides, I think most people think of the Wings like I think of the Yankees. They're damn good, they've had a lot of legends over the years, and most of their fans are cocky bastards. It's natural to hate them. I just hate those Avalanche douchebags. Gotta love the Blackhawks though, who else would fuck up and give us Chelios?
I too am a Pittsburgh Penguins fan. I had high expectations for them this season after their phenomenal playoff run and their mediocre performance against the Red Wings. Hopefully the bringing of the new coach will change things.
As for the Caps and Ovechkin, he's great, but I think announcers tend to suck his dick so to speak more than Crosby. They've been making a big deal about his goal the other night. While it was a nice goal, I've seen other players such as Crosby make shots while falling down.
Mr. E, you mind as well give up on Nashville. They are and always will be a shit team.
Wings ftw.
They were pretty good last year and have been pretty good before too CPOC. They are bad this year but every team has bad years.
Way to go out on a limb with your favorite team by the way. It is up there with being a Yankees fan, a Lakers fan, and a Steelers fan.
That's somewhat true. You aren't obligated, you just aren't allowed to live in the Dirty D anymore if you don't support them. One of the things our former mayor did right. Along with putting his retarded family members in charge of every department in the city. Well, actually that could probably be defined as one of the worse things he did.
Lansing
You have money huh? I've been to Sterling Heights, everyone there has money. Got a couple nice disc golf courses though.
I dunno man, all I saw were nice cars and big houses, maybe everyone in SH is in debt.
Well, still beats Lansing where 50% of the city is unemployed.
It used to be GM but the plant shut down. Now most people here just sell drugs and/or collect unemployment. That in coupled with the fact that Lansing has a micro-climate that actually makes it cloudier than Seattle makes this the most pleasant place to live east of bumfuck nowhere.
It could be worse, but for a state capital it's pretty fucking shitty. It's only getting worse too, it gets more industrial and ghetto by the day. Not to be racist but my graduating class was 95% white, now it's about 50% black. Not the good black either. The ghetto, wannabe thug homeboy black. And I went to the nicest high school in the greater Lansing area.
I would hate to live away from metro detroit.
Sterling Heights isn't really Detroit. It's one of Detroit's endless suburbs.
I guess it can. But honestly who actually wants to be from Detroit? I take pride in the fact that I have never actually lived in Detroit.
Preds: 8
Red Wings: 0
Worst shutout loss by the Red Wings since 1982
Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
It cannot be argued that he is not on fire since his return.
Don't get cocky.
But yes, yes you are.
