I bet Vince is going to make the match at Royal Rumble a triple threat since Shawn pinned Cena, then Shawn will win it, and it will lead to JBL/HBK drama.

To be totally honest about it that was one of the better Raws that I've seen in a long time. Well other than the whole Jericho getting fired thing. I mean that might leave me y2jless for a short while.

Umaga joining Snuka and Manu doesn't make any sense with the Legacy Angle, unless they are going to create a Samoa stable to feud with Legacy.

Well probably. In earnest there aren't that many Samoans on earth period, and there are only two types of Samoans. All of one are related if you go back far enough, and same for the other.
But for real I think that all wrestling Samoans (that have ever been in the WWE or WCW) share the same great-grandfather or great-great grandfather (I forget which one).

Yeah, it could work. I also think that he is related to the Rock, because I know Rikishi is and Umaga is related to Rikishi. I think they would have to admit that he could actually speak for that to work though, and I've read Vince is reluctant to do that.

ECW title is the new stepping stone to becoming a solid mid-carder.
I agree that Matt Hardy has never really been more over than "upper midcarder" at MOST. I would rather hold the Intercontinental championship rather than the ECW championship if I had the choice.
The difference is that the Intercontinental title is held by a decent wrestler.
I don't watch ECW, but I know Jack Swagger hasn't been around that long. He has to be at least pretty good if they'd put the ECW title on someone that green. If he has been wrestling Tommy Dreamer and Matt Hardy we probably have no idea what he is actually capable of.

The ECW title doesn't mean shit, but Jack Swagger is awesome. He's a great wrestler. He's a lot like Kurt Angle, but bigger. Because of his height, he doesn't do many of the fancy technical wrestling, but he can still brawl with the rest of them. I suggest you guys watch his match with Finlay from last week and his match yesterday with Hardy. Both were really great.
Swagger is the best thing on all three brands IMO. Its too soon to have a title run, but he's still awesome.
Wow, that is a pretty glowing recommendation. They need to move him to Smackdown so he can start being a real wrestler.
I don't disagree that swagger could be one of the major stars after the current gen of old main eventers retires, but Brock Lesnar got handed the title and was supposed to be the biggest thing as well.
Yea, I know. All I can say is that I hope Jack doesn't go down the same road as Lashley and Lesnar.
If this was the mma thread I would be defending Lesnar right now, and possibly hugging his nuts a lot. The truth is that as a wrestler he just wasn't all that great though.
Well, in all fairness, Brock was pretty awesome and would have been legendary if he would have stuck with it.
I liked Brock. I didn't at the time, but looking back on it, he was a monster in the 'E'.
He was a phenomenal wrestler for his size and bulk.
Remember that time he did the shooting star press? Granted, he fucked up, but to attempt it was amazing. I've seen him do it flawlessly before.
I agree, had he stuck with it he would have been phenomenal. That shooting star press was amazing though, even though he didn't hit it. A guy that size even coming close is impressive in itself.

Vladamir Kozlov is the next Goldberg.
Koslov can actually wrestle. I like him, too.
Kozlov is ok, but his ring psychology needs a whole lot of work.
I just don't see him as getting it up to par before they write in him losing a match. That's the only reason I think he'll be the next Goldberg.

Reports are in that say his entrance in the Hall of Fame will be the official end of Stone Cold Steve Austin's wrestling career.
I'm not gonna lie, that thought makes me pretty sad. It also makes me feel old.
I was always hoping he'd come back for one more show, one more match for one more night.
