Marcus Davis was extremely impressive with his boxing. He has probably some of the best technical stand up I've seen in MMA. This fight should definitely take him out of the gatekeeper spot and set him up for some bigger name fights. The guillotine finish was a nice surprise.
Lytle vs. Taylor: ...wow. Absolutely insane fight, the pace was simply ridiculous. Lytle surprised me with how wildly he was throwing his punches. Taylor was definitely a lot more technical, and had insane cardio. He didn't slow at all the entire fight and kept up the furious pace, while Lytle was noticeably gassed midway through round 2. Still, I had Lytle winning every round. Taylor was a lot crisper but it looked like Lytle landed a lot more and did a lot more damage. I'm glad they didn't rob him of the decision to appeal to the UK crowd. Fuck those people that booed.
Sokojuo vs. Cane up next. I'm going with Sokojuo.
EDIT: Wow, Sokojuo looked amazing for most of that round. Extremely fast and explosive, but man Cane's got one hell of a chin. Sokojuo definitely started to gas near the end of the round, I don't know if he can last much longer at that pace he's set.
EDIT2: Luis Cane is a monster. Sokojuo was pretty obviously gassed throughout the round, and still managed to throw full out rib-breaking body kicks. Cane took them without even flinching, I think that had a big part in breaking Sokojuo mentally. I mean if you throw everything you have at someone for a round and a half and they don't show any signs of being remotely hurt, thats something that is really hard to deal with. Probably the most impressive thing in that round though, was Mike Goldberg saying something that wasn't retarded haha. Also I think I see Krystof from TUF8 in Sokojuos corner.
EDIT3: Jardine v. Vera: Pretty awesome war. Vera looks great as a LHW this time, definitely in better shape. Close fight, but Jardine clearly did more damage. I can't fucking believe people booed that fight, that made me so mad.
EDIT4: Yep, Bisbing outpointed Leben. Great fight though, Leben looked a lot better than he has before. Bisbing out pointed him, but did not hurt him at all throughout the fight and that pissed me off that he still won it. I liked at the end where Leben put his hands behind his back and let Bisbing kick him in the head and didn't even blink. Can't wait for Silva to take that fucker down a couple notches.
