Your examples are two competing candidates.

In the accusations being presented in this thread, we're talking about people IN THE SAME CAMPAIGN attacking each other. These people were suppose to be ON THE SAME SIDE, IN THE SAME TEAM working to defeat the opposing candidate.

This is equivalent to Britain deciding to go on a bombing run in New York after WWII.
