(Society, however, allows homosexuals to have a culture built out of it, so gayness is much more prominent and permanent) Obviously those who say "it's a choice lol" are idiots.

This explains for example the phenomena of jailhouse gays. (Those in prison or those, like furries, who can't get a woman so they resort to men)

This doesn't mean I view it as unnatural or whatever, just that it's not definite.

I didn't watch the video's because I feel they'd be annoying. Also 11 year-olds or whatever refuting their alleged gayness is stupid.
I agree that sexuality is much more fluid than society gives it credit for, and that attraction can change through one's life.

However, I don't believe that it's as simple as all people "starting straight" right out of the birth canal, and I still think that there's the possibility that for many people, their sexuality is more or less rigid, or at least extremely viscous.

Also, "jailhouse gays" are a rather extreme example of being thrown into an environment that's far removed from normal society. Prisons generate a lot of strange psychological behavior that's not observed in other environments.

And anyway, this is a Christian kid that said that he's suddenly interested in women because "being gay is a sin," as though he could spontaneously switch his sexuality that easily.

ok, I think a major is the american equivalent of a university qualification; in which case, I'm seventeen, remember. I would have taken philosophy had it been an option in my sixth form; as it is, I'm taking history, english, and psychology at A level, with an eye on research psychology as my eventual profession. I'm just very, very interested in philosophy as a field, and I think it complements psychology, and, in fact, all the subjects I'm currently taking, very well.

EDIT: I guess you could call me the social sciences guy

hey, i have no idea how old you are.

your parents knew you were in france?

also, a "major" simply refers to the area of study on which one focuses one's university studies. our undergraduate degree is a bachelor's, which is equivalent to like 1/2 of a british undergraduate degree because, again, our pre-graduate educational system sucks. however, our research is top-notch because we siphon in foreign students from other countries that have received superior undergraduate and pre-university educations.

as someone with intimate knowledge of how the education system (at least in Canada) operates, and why exactly it's broken as fuck, let me tell you that No Child Left Behind is probably the worst thing to happen to the school system, the only thing worse being it's complete lack of existence.
