The beginning couple of minutes and the bit just at the end move me very nearly to tears.

Edit for just watched the video and I really don't see what you see in the guy gwahir. He reminds me of Kevin Smith only without Jason Mewes hanging around to make him appear at least halfway interesting when he speaks.

The only show in that group that is halfway tolerable is Buffy, and that's only because David Boreanaz' sweet ass was on it sometimes.

There's no conflict in Jamaica whatsoever, right?

Other than that, it was alright, nothing compared to the more impassioned speeches by, say, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, David Attenborough or even Linda Smith. The last bit of his speech made it worth listening to though.

If Joss Whedon went to Jamaica and didn't stick to the very touristy areas he would probably get shot pretty damn quickly.
