For you LOTR fans. We have put together a short fan-film based on The Lord of The Rings.
Here is a trailer of the upcoming film.

well i did wake up this morning thinking "i would like to see some really, really horridly acted balls, written, directed by and starring people who are essentially the reason people hate nerdy types" so i guess i can check that off today's list

my advice is that you should seriously consider whether you want your real names attached to that fine fine work because you're sure to be mobbed by hollywood folk when this inevitably hits the mainstream which might interfere with your daily routine of constantly reprinting pages of fan-script that you've cried all over

i mean you really are the reason people don't take fans of stuff seriously. you can't just like something and not be a complete dweeb about it? i guess i'd understand -- partly -- if what you made was good, even vaguely, but that is really appalling. you couldn't have done this in someone's backyard, protected by a really high fence, without filming it, and without associating it with a preexisting franchise -- just so other people are free to like star wars and lord of the rings and WOW and firefly and douglas adams without everyone else conjuring up visions of you douchebags? people like you ruin liking things for everyone else.

The camera work, as far as I can tell is good, especially for an amateur film.

The orc's acting seems decent.

everyone else's acting is god-awful. I mean, I've seen better acting out of paris hilton.

I don't understand why people make fan films. So they can get circle jerked around fan communities and be praised by sycophantic idiots and shat on by smug cunts (sorry gwahir but..well...). And then you can spend 26 hours a day nerdgasming with Elronds_Bitch and Celticreferencecharactername69 on Tolkein themed message boards while the rest of the internet gives you snooty looks over their copies of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner?

Why not take that effort and 'creativity' and use it to create your own masterpiece with your own voice and your own content. We live in a time where you can LITERALLY make a movie for practically nothing and then take it round real film festivals and show it to the public and maybe make a career from film making.

All you're doing is trading your credibility (and your dignity) for bragging rights on oneboardtorulethemall.com
