Upside down rhinos airlifted to safety

"Conservation organisation WWF airlifted 19 black rhinos out of Eastern Cape province of South Africa, moving them 1500 kilometres north to Limpopo province to put the rhinos out of range of poachers."

Check it out, they airlifted some rhinos by their ankles.

Poor things were probably terrified.

I can't imagine the hell WWF would go through if they accidentally dropped one.

That's really a nifty idea. I find it weird that various species of rhino are going extinct. I just find it weird altogether that animals just end up wiped out and never to be seen again. I don't know why but that idea of an absolute end is strange. I read somewhere that two species were declared extinct or missing just recently in the news. They're poached for the horns because people pay big money believing they're a natural aphrodisiac. Kind of stupid.
