I am glad to see the Afgan police are trying to arrest the family, and indeed they arrested the rapist, that is some progress...but I think it would take alot of years, if it is indeed possible to make muslims in some part of the world see women as human beings. Some attitudes towards women are just horrific. Fuck family honour, a father should be willing to die for his daughter and if he was going to cut open anyone, it should have been the rapist, and anyone who thought they could judge his daughter, him or anyone else in his family.
The one Muslim practice I support is making the woman walk 10 steps in front of me.

To oppose gun control is to be liberal.
It's not about killing. It's about doing the right thing. Personally, I think protecting myself, so that my family won't have to pay for my hospital bills or a funeral, is the right thing. Do I want to protect myself? No, I've met a lot of people in my life, and a lot of them have done bad things, but they're still people.
I never said that everyone should have guns. I have the right to live. You have the right to make a funny face, and then turn your face away when someone tries to hurt you or your loved ones.

P.S. Read it again, the verse doesn't say that Israelis or Jews will be the ones ripping fetuses out of mothers in that verse. What it does say is that they have turned away from God, and are not under his protection leaving them vulnerable to atrocity.
