    ELO is freaking awesome. The little music school I went to was all about them. You're right though, most people don't even know they exist.

    One thing I notice though is that around the holidays tons of companies use their songs for commercials... it's ridiculous, there have been times where I sat through a set of commercials and three of them used different ELO songs.

    But yes, my mom actually told me about them when I really got in to older progressive stuff five or six years ago, and they are amazing.

    I purchased the The Best of ELO and was surprised to hear so many familiar songs. I just want to drop a name in case anyone else is interested in listening.
