Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen
Jedi Mind Tricks are alright.. I Against I is prob my favorite song followed by Animal Rap or Heavenly Divine.. not really into them that much anymore.. used to be a big JMT and Immortal Tech head.. now I listen to better hip-hop.. i feel like they just get you into the real shit.. you'll see what i'm saying in a year or so.. Just get the album 36 chambers and listen to it straight through like 5 times.. first you'll be like uhh.. and then you'll be like wu-tang forever! at least that's how it happened to me. anyway:
Wu Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck
Biggie Smalls - Kick in the Door
Electric Relaxation - A Tribe Called Quest

I love Wu-Tang too.
I against I is one of Jedi Mind's greatest songs ever made. While that may be the way you took, I listened to older hip hop well before I heard shit like Jedi Mind and Immortal technique. Back when I was a freshman in high school I got into tupac a lot and after loving his music I went to nas, biggie, wu tang, a tribe called quest, atmosphere, aesop rock, gza etc. I think I have a pretty diverse, good, hip hop collection overall though.
Yea that's tight I went opposite.. I started listenting to like g-unit radio mixtapes and 50 cent older stuff before he got big.. then the quality of their music started to get worse so I stopped listening around 10th grade my friend told me about immortal technique. I liked him a lot and got into him, jedi mind, aesop rock, really indie hip hop stuff. Then I started listening to 36 chambers everyday in 11th grade in school on my iPod and i fell in love with it.. ever since then i've been into tons of hip-hop artists.. personal favorites: J Dilla, Madlib, ATCQ, WuTang, Ghostface, gza, raekwon, erykah badu, mf doom, nas, kweli, the roots. Here's my last.fm you can check out my charts -- friend me if you got one too: http://www.last.fm/user/iammzac
50 cent actually had some good shit for a while. His mixtapes back in the day were good and so was power of the dollar. Unfortunately he went mainstream and started rapping purely for sales and now he is just terrible. Thank god the game got out of g-unit.
When I get home I'll check out your last.fm, I don't have one but I keep hearing about how I should use it so I might.
Ministry - Burning Inside is a good random choice.
