yeah when i was comparing it to root beer i meant that it is non-alcoholic even though its called "beer"
It's just like stronger ginger ale with more "bite" to it, it rules but is expensive and hard to find.
Dark & Stormy is a great drink, a dark rum like Goslings with some ginger beer or in a pinch Vernor's will work as it is kind of close

I like Magic Hat #9, Circus, Winter howl, yuengling, and stella artois. A lot of my friends enjoy coors, miller, etc, but i can't seem to enjoy them at all.
As for liquor i prefer: jager, grey goose, and jungle juice (it's like an alcoholic surprise).

magic hat #9 is disgusting but yuengling is my beer of choice when i'm away from canadian beers
stella is overpriced and has a weird, subtle aftertaste that bugs me
