Yesterday I popped over to my parents' house to return my dad's snowblower since it's now about 75 degrees outside and I doubt I'll be needing it any more this season (GLOBAL WARMING). Now, my dad has a very large family (he was one of 13 kids), and my parents were having a bunch of them over for St. Patrick's Day dinner of corned beef & cabbage.

When asked by one of my aunts how old I was I paused for a second and said "33". We went on with the conversation and eventually I ducked out so they could all eat dinner.

A short time ago I noticed on my facebook that it was one of my cousins' birthdays today. She's the same age as me, and she just turned 34. "Huh, I thought I was the same age as she was!" I said to myself, and then I realized that I turned 34 last month, not 33.

This isn't the first time it's happened, and I will freely admit I've been forgetting how old I am since about the age of 27 or so.

The vast majority of you are younger than I am, some by quite a bit. Do you ever forget how old you are?

Is it because as you get older, age just isn't important anymore?
