KT. I get what you're saying, but personally I prefer no recaps... it's not too difficult to figure out what is going on once you're partway through, mind you sometimes it is a little trickier. I'd hate to have three to four pages of stuff I remember over new material though.

Obviously you don't read any Marvel titles because the recap is only the first page.
