I work in there as a Personnel Specialist. Simply put, I do a lot of paperwork and help people. There are a lot of things admin people do, but the meat of what I do is give people their awards and make sure their service record is squared away for exams. I don't have a gun and would probably never ever have to use one. If I stayed in after this, there would be a slim chance I might be temporarily ordered to do admin work in base in a warzone. I do other things such as manage supplies and muster the division. The really cool thing I get to learn how to do is to fight fires, manage floods, and learn how to survive chemical, biological, and radiation attacks.
I like the Navy because it takes care of food, board, free health care, $400K life insurance, travel, and free education.
Kind of sounds cool to just get up and leave to travel to another country. Besides being buttfuck nowhere, what is the rest of Nova Scotia like?
