So just how much can you hear?

I can whistle with my ears when I try to pop them. No tinnitus I am aware of, though, I started wearing earpro years ago when the mission permits it.

in spite of the tinnitus, i always seem to get loud jobs - lumber mill, window factory - basically cutting things with saws all the time.

I always wore ear plugs and i still can't believe that out of everyone in the mill, i was 1 of 2 of 7 who regularly wore earplugs, and in the window factory, i was one of 2 of 30 who wore earplugs, even though there were people running louder machines than I was.

i'm still not a fan of loud noises, except concerts and whatnot

I cant hear above 15, and im 21. Although, I have no right ear drum, and have holes in my left. Thats probably why.

I'm glad you made a thread about this. I was actually dog watching for my friends parents this weekend and I played certain sounds every time the one annoying dog barked. He eventually realized that his ears wouldn't hurt if he didn't bark.

Ultra bump. Also I have lost 18, 17 & 16. I can barely hear 15 and 14 is clear. Not too bad now that I am 38. For those of you in this thread still coming to this god forsaken cemetery, test again (website still works!!) and let us know how much shittier your hearing has gotten over the last 14 years.
