Incidentally, for a while they thought that I had Lupus. They never did figure out what it was. It had all the symptoms of Lupus, but wasn't lupus, and it went away before they could solve it. House would have been pissed with my doctors.

In the diagnosis room, Lupus is always dropped at least once. Regardless of whether or not it is the actually affliction... Lupus is always thrown out there.
Probably not, I don't have any of the early warning signs and it doesn't run anywhere in my family that I know of

Started donating when I was 18 but got cut off at 21 gallons. The plasma units don't hide your diet, if it is high in fat it will float to the top of the bag. Your running should not be affected since red blood cells are not removed, your oxygen capacity will not be affected. Hydrate pre- and post donation even though a saline soultion is placed back into your blood stream. I had to quit when I started rat poison (coumadin) therapy for a brain clot.
