I've been waiting for a thread like this, and now I have found it and will unleash fury.

1. Facebook Status', Myspace Bulletins, and Twitter
Look, I don't give a fuck what you are doing and I refuse to get online to see what it is. If I gave a shit, I would call you and ask you like fucking NORMAL PERSON.These sites are fueled by 2 kinds of people. 1) Egomaniacs, 2) Hot girls & and the guys who check their status every 2 minutes so they can convienently show up where the hot girls are, and try to fuck them

2. Girl friends/Dates who want me to watch their horrible shows

Grey's Anatomy, American Idol, Smallville, ect ect. Look, I don't ask you to watch Hockey, Football, or Star Wars. Infact, I prefer you to be as far as fucking possible from me when I am watching some stuff. Newflash: we don't have to do everything together. Infact, if I see you more than 5 nights a week, I want to kill myself.

3. Michael Bay

You have been ruining things I used to love for far too long. Infact, you suck so bad that it is cliche to hate you.

4. Indie Music Elitist

I enjoy "indie" music. I like Animal Collective. I enjoy Tropicalia music. I have many vinyl records. But, when I meet a person who likes Taylor Swift, loves modern rap, and has a 90s pop rock CD collection, I don't think of them as less of a person. And if I did, I would be more of a douche than the person I thought was a douche.

This is approaching TL;DR, but I have many more.

I also realize that this is merely a list of things that piss me off. Not really what is supposed to be awesome, but really sucks balls.

If I met someone who likes Taylor Swift, loves modern rap, and has a 90s pop rock CD collection I wouldn't mind, because some modern rap is funny or catchy, and 90s pop rock was awesome (until the late 90s).

If I met someone who likes Taylor Swift, loves modern rap, and likes nothing else I would think less of them as a person. Taste in music is a part of who you are too. Most people throw musical taste into their perception of a person.

Just who is supposing what and what not anyone is supposed to like? The status quo is an illusion, normal a mathematical abstraction. Do as you please, yet be wary of consequences to both action and the lack thereof, and watch as past annoyances dissipate and return your equilibrium. Perhaps a note of currency shall be attached if late, an artifact of the past to aid in your appreciation of the present and give you hope for the future.
