Arguably my life isn't enriched any more by someone like Robert Frost than by Margaret Weis. Being well read doesn't make you a better person, and if being well read is less enjoyable, why should it be the path taken? To garner respect from the community at CD? I'd rather read things I enjoy than things others think I should read.
