In the last while I've done a lot of volunteering for some perplexing reason because deep down I know I'm a self-loathing asshole. I dedicated a lot of my time and it feels really good. Not like substance abuse induced good or wild romps through the seedier areas of Virginia, but a holier-than-thou good that my ticket to Heaven has gone from denied to pending status. Does anyone else here not sit on the computer all day and help the less fortunate?

Recently served food for the homeless, setup a shelter for battered women, help and cheered on those at the local special olympics, cleaned the grimy trashy beaches of virginia, donated blood, signed up for the bone marrow registry, and did yardwork for the elderly. I know I'm bragging, but my real intention is to see if anyone else here does any other unself-serving duty that could probably inspire me or others to pick it up. Some other opporutunity.
