And you're getting rid of a buffer as well: the more non-shits alive the better for the town, even if they are rather disinterested non-shits. That's one more player that the shits have to go through.

Also mutton ffs "Brits vs. shits" is the dumbest variation on this game I have ever heard of.

EDIT:

PMs between all parties are allowed during the day. Only Shits can PM each other at night.

That's rather a silly rule. PM's between all parties should be allowed during any phase, excluding as always the dead of course.

the brits of lws gave their private group the ridiculed name "Brit or Shit"

now that i think about it, their rival group was called The Mafia (we didn't play mafia, the nerdcore guys called it werewolf iirc), which demolished Brit or Shit in lws's version of gua's battle arena (only attacks, no gay roleplaying)
